Issues relating to establishment of a unified educational space were on top of the agenda of the seminar held under the auspices of the EU programme “Tempus” at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Azadi.
The seminar was attended by representatives of educational institutions of Turkmenistan and the European Union member states - Germany, Portugal and Poland.
The project started in late 2010. It aims to improve national educational standards in Turkmenistan through learning and application of best European practices in this field.
According to the Bologna Declaration that seeks to ensure unified educational standards in the participating countries, the project facilitated a series of educational and training activities in Turkmenistan to find a compromise between the traditional forms of learning and innovative trends in education to enable the country to join the unified European educational space.
